Blue Square Pattern

Our Farm Fresh Program fosters close relationships with small-scale local farmers to expand a growing agroecological network across the Paso del Norte region. Maintaining a commitment to nurturing a local foodshed, we collaborate with and support values-aligned partner farmers in a variety of ways, including marketing and technical assistance. We believe that food safety is community care and offer a two-tier food safety training program and launched a Food Safety Ambassador Program in 2023.

In these efforts, we also increase market opportunities for partner farmers through our Farm Fresh and Veggie Script programs. We sell their produce at Las Cruces Public Schools, the Gadsden Independent School District, Las Cruces food banks, and local senior centers and daycare centers. We are always working to grow our market outlets across the region.

In our work, we also uplift the stories, experiences, and expertise of partner farmers through multimedia projects and outreach to deepen the connections with consumers and the folks who grow our food.
